I installed it on top, as far forward as possible without interfering with the front props. After looking at an exploded diagram of the spark I felt it was the best location without adding more accessories. Flown 4 batteries through it so far with no problems.

Advice on safest place to locate a Firehouse strobe on to of the spark ?

I had a recent run in with a red tailed hawk, came out of nowhere and sent the spark for a tumble, he chased the spark back to the landing pad. Of course I did not have it recording the awesome event....grrr

Possibly, looks like 80 employees terminated so far, it's a hobby, sometimes you lose unfortunately. I think It's good to see them trying to resolve it though. DJI is expecting a 150 million dollar loss from it so I don't think it's going to work out so well for them either.

Anyone seen the news about all the arrests made at dji for customer fraud ? Apparently employees were scamming customers on repairs. Good to see something is being done about it hopefully this will improve service results. Don't want post links and risk viruses but a quick Google search will...
