Just to add to the music comments, the easy and cheap/free way to add soundtracks to videos that won't get spanked on FB and Youtube is to explore sites like purple-planet.com or bensound.com. WIde variety of royalty-free music, you just include credit to the appropriate site in your...
Thanks to you and the others for the kind words. This is shot in my neighborhood, and so it was a quick trip down the road. I have a 4WD Jeep but just no reason to be on the roads. I did pick a new location to pilot from, so I'll be zooming around some more when the weather is more to my...
Fortunately mine did not go out. Many people I know can’t say that. Per the Oncor outage map the rolling blackouts have ceased and number of customers without power has dropped about 90% from a couple days ago. Still have 4500 outages affecting over 100k people but those, they say, are weather...
Snow is such a rarity here and this is our second round this winter. A week ago people were on this golf course, and they'll be back on it by next weekend. Normally i'd edit a much shorter video but this video caters to some of the things my neighbors wanted to see. 4:00-6:00 would have...
If you've got friends who think the rules are for "everyone else," please remind them that significant enforcement requirement of existing rules always leads to more stringent rules.
A deluge of drones fly over Super Bowl stadium, despite ban
Excellent, thanks for that tip. I knew there was a setting that would allow it, and i usually don't think about looking for it until I'm already in the air! "Unremarkable land" is exactly why I use the Spark for sunsets. I've got a tree line that blocks me from watching them from the house. I...
Hey all, I could see the color starting to show last night, and i grabbed the spark for an impromptu flight. Clouds were pushing, but never got a wind warning. I was about 200ft above ground level. Actual clip was 90 seconds, I've sped it up 3x here. You'll see a little bit of auto exposure...
Your announcement of pending tutorial was what threw me into the rabbit hole to begin with ;)
Photomatix looks great. I am going to go through your tutorial before my next trip.
Well, I wasn't ready to start unwinding this ball of string, but after reading the comments here, I took a stab at it. 3 hours later, i'm up out of the rabbit hole for air! 3 brackets, used Luminance HDR. I'm sure Photomatix is in my future.
Yes you are correct. I've also heard adjusting the speed with iMovie from 100 to 97% works as well. Final Cut Pro is on the list once I start doing more with video. Thanks for the info.
I wasn't really seeking out the 24fps approach, I sorta backed into it. I was reading threads on jitter on youtube videos, some with specific reference to iMovie, and corrections to eliminate same. It was the convergence of a couple ideas, and using (free) software already on my laptop...
These are my first three videos with my new Spark. First quadcopter videos period. I bought the Spark the week before our trip and these were a couple pieces I put together. Initially I just added these for family and friends, so they're single clip videos. Uploaded in 1080p so watch the HD...
