Steve Couts is a photographer/ videographer in Calgary. He uses his Spark as a tool in his profession. Here's what happened when it fell in a creek.

"Line of sight" does not mean you have to be able to see your drone. It means that you should not allow it to fly behind a structure between you and the drone. There must be nothing between you and the drone.

I once launched from a parking lot near a local ferry dock. I didn't realize that swallows nested down below. The drone freaked them out. About 20 birds took off at once. I landed within 15 seconds, but I felt like a jerk.

Leave it home. Way too much hassle unless you're an hour or so outside the city. One of the new drone laws will not allow flying over towns or cities. London is one of the largest (and greatest) cities in the world.

I thought you were in Puget Sound till I saw the RCM boat. Very nice stuff. Did anyone on the boats see your Spark?
