I played one of my Spark video files through VLC and it looks fine. Don't know about the GOM Player. Perhaps GOM player cannot play Spark's high bitrate video and has to compromise... I was surprised that the Spark produced a higher bitrate video than my iPhone 6. Spark's video shows as 1920...

Spark features I've never experimented with until yesterday are the 180 Pano photo features. I'm blown away by how it holds position, fires off a number of photos then stitches them together.

Just got back from St. John USVI. A couple of drone flights on the East End. We stayed in the house with the private beach. Needed AWD to manage driveway. Very nice! St. John was hit hard by hurricanes Irma and Maria, they are looking for folks to come back. Still doing a lot of cleanup...

My family has pushed me to check on insurance after I had the spark repaired but I have not checked with DJI about it. About self repair, I found I could buy the Spark body shell and attempt repair myself but with small parts and precise soldering I opted for the official repair.
