Hi @jimbug with this connection method does the RC charge the ipad or the ipad charge the RC or neither? I note that you can get lightning data cables and/or data/charge cables and wondered on the difference and advantages?

Which one did you go for out of interest?

Well I can’t say for certain as I don’t yet own it yet. The Mini 4 is what he is using in that video I think. It is slightly wider than the 2 and 3 but only by a couple of mm. On the Mavic remote controller there is a small plastic clip that you have to remove before you can fit an eight inch...

I believe the Mini 4 will fit perfectly.
