Drone Pilot Faces Federal Charges for NFL Flights

You seem to defend him but this guy is not only an idiot or a criminal he is a fanatic according to his leaflets. And this can lead to the worse. See what happens with private guns in some countries...

    I don't trust spark

Tello suffers a LOT from wifi interferences and weak wifi, especially with the latest update that allows 30m high

    Sparky has the worst range

It's good that your spark didn't initiate a RTH to go back land on your bed... lol

Are you using a "Battery strap" to secure the battery?

No need to buy anything when not necessary. Reason why batteries may fall in flight was explained in detail in previous threads. Two different types of batteries are in service. An old type with poor clipping system and a new (modified) type with longer clips that avoid any problem. Pictures...

Will their ever be a significant firmware for spark in the future!?

I would fully agree with you for heavier professional drones with longer range and endurance time (lets say starting with Mavick). But with 10mn flight time, 2km max realistic range, i dont see the added value of way points for Spark in most of the cases. In addition, great part of the fun comes...

OK to fly with a prop that has a crack halfway up the prop?

To fly with a crack like this is not an issue if you dont have spare props at hand. Just cover it with a piece of scotch tape. It will fly like a new one. BUT, usually when you hit something there is a very high chance that the prop mount is damaged (one small end that blocks the prop is...

    Bye bye Sparkie!

I think the main differences between Atti and GPS when flying manually are drift due to wind and braking distances. So in Atti you have to be more cautious to avoid obstacles. Correct me if i'm wrong.

    Start Routine (Check list)

Hi. I think you forgot one of the most important pre-check. That's altitude setting for RTH according to your PRESENT environment. I found myself in very scarry situation where standard 30m was not enough... For almost all the rest the plane warns you, but not for this one...

    Hello from... everywhere??

Hello Stathis. Great you can fly from the boat! You mentioned only interferences but i would have thought that it was impossible to fly as taking off from reinforced concrete is already a challenge..

    DJI Tello review!

Thanks a lot for the advice. Note that there is no need for an application as the settings allow now to choose max flight altitude up to 30m.

    NEVER FLY IN FOG

I wonder who started to be rude... we just share EXPERIENCE. Not bla bla bla, as it seems your are inclined to. If you have no experience to share no need to comment further

    NEVER FLY IN FOG

Know your plane better before telling bs yourself. And obviously you know little. First dont confuse altitude and height. Second its not a matter of height but of visual sensor lured by fog. It seems you are useless to this forum

    Flying Above Dense Fog

In theory yes... never tried to fly without visual sensors
