    Where will it all end!!

I am on the verge of cashing in the money I have tied up in my beloved Spark. Yet again I am on holiday on the South Coast in the UK and after being here for the past 4 days I have not had Sparky in the air. It seems that it is like a pack of cards falling, with the number of tourist sites...

The Madame Sherri Forest in New Hampshire

What a great watch. Very good editing, and great ending.

What propeller are u currently using.

I use both original and master airscrew. (Not at the same time). I find the airscrew quieter, sparky is a little faster and very responsive. I like them very much. If I need the folding facility and convenience of originals, I use them. They are still excellent.

DJI discusses Drone-to-Phone tech and pilot privacy

I feel very strongly about this and as an ex police officer I regard law enforcement as a benefit to the public and pilots alike. But the general public contains many different personalities, including what could be described as less than responsible. A freely available app which could be used...

DJI Mavic Mini killed the DJI Spark – simplifying the Mavic lineup

Dji will sell lots of Minis given time. But they will have to wait for a while for flyaways to need replacing due to the Mini not handling wind very well. That is, if fliers replace them with like for like, or go to the Air and above. They would do well to replace the flyaway Mini with a well...

Violating FAA rules with software hacks

I agree with everything that has been said about hacks to the firmware of our sparks, or any other bird. As an ex police officer I regard myself as a sensible law abiding citizen with a respect for rules and regulations. However, I have been retired for 20 years now, and I can see that the...

    Master Air Screw

I have been using them for about a month now. They have definitely removed the annoying pitch of the originals and the noise is more more acceptable to my wife who constantly complained. I haven't really notice any reduced flying time, but there again my times very every flight, took many...

    Sad new pilot here

Don't be embarrassed through loosing your spark. Try to get any help you are due. Treat this as a learning curve, many many pilots have done much worse than you have done, lots of them got away with it. You were unlucky, not stupid. You obviously panicked a bit and in that state it is very...

Little journey to Portugal. Enjoy this video...

Did you get all the necessary permissions to fly in Portugal? My son was married in Vilamoura end of last year and when I enquired about flying a spark, the permissions I needed, just to fly with a camera were ludicrous and I gave up on it and didn't even take sparky. It did cross my mind that...

    Holy Protection Church

My son recently returned from a business/pleasure trip to that area and came back with some photographs of the incredible architecture. My first thought was for the possibilities for aerial videos, and you have confirmed my thoughts. Lovely production showing the best aspects of a stunning...

40 mph wind was pushing my drone backwards

Good bit of fun Roy, rescued what could have been a wasted trip. Interesting video but it seemed like you were riding 'Trigger' at the time. (Sorry Roy)

Clifton Suspension Bridge @ night - Bristol UK

It gets more and more difficult to think of different settings for stills, but you have done a great job. In my opinion, your settings have accentuated the prime subject, the bridge, and shown it to be strikingly beautiful. Very impressed, both by your photographic soils, and by the...

    West of Iceland in summer

Wow, FAB-U-LUS!!! Mesmerising presentation. Watching your production gives so much pleasure. We watch so many fabulous videos on this forum, but very occasionally one appears that stands out. Well done.

Another "DREADED TERRACE ROUNDABOUT" wrong direction

I agree. My simple instructions to American visitors I have had in the uk is: We drive on the LEFT, and without exception, you drive onto a roundabout by turning LEFT. Exits from roundabouts will always be a gentle filter to the LEFT. If you are a country that drives on the RIGHT, just...
