I find a tablet works great and use an iPad mini for the job. Maybe get a good second hand or refurb and keep it just for Sparky.

I like this idea but how do you secure it all to the tripod screw? I've got a Monopod with feet that would be ideal.

This is interesting. You operate the Spark with the iPad and controller attached to a tripod? How is it attached?

Look on YouTube. There are some excellent tutorials on there some going from absolute basic.

Over here in the UK we can use the same number on multiple drones.

So how do you attach registration numbers to a Spark. Does everyone have to get a Dymo machine or do they send you a set of stickers?

I'm thinking of getting one of those aluminium camera cases to carry my Spark gear when I travel but I see the hard plastic type have some kind of valve built in. Is there a reason for that valve? Anyone else using an aluminium camera case. How did you get on with the cubed foam?

Yes, I've been using the mini 2 since I got my Spark. No problems whatsoever. I got a good tablet holder and a sunscreen.

I have that case too and love it but any idea if it's possible to get a shoulder strap for it. There looks to be slots at the side.

I know the feeling! I did several flight on the sim before actually taking to the skies. It's nothing like the real thing but gets you used to the controls. I decided to do a two hour training session with one of the drone flight schools and that gave me the confidence. If you didn't want to go...

I've tried various bags and a Smatree case but there is always something that won't fit. Has anyone found a nice one that will fit the flymore package plus tablet and landing mat. I'm obsessed with finding the ideal case.

Be patient with the set up.....try the sim and as many others on here have said, watch the YouTube videos. I found a guy on there called Jason and his tutorials are excellent. He even has training checklists where you work your way through a list of things to try. Have loads of fun.
