I'm pretty sure the spark automatically stops recording when you power off anyway I never stop recording when I power off and all my videos are intact and fine. I'll give it a go when I finish work [emoji106]

I had the same problem with mine and it turned out to be cheap props off eBay!!! Must have been out of balance or something. As soon as I put props on their from the DJI store flies fine and straight. From now on won't use any other props other than DJI ones. I know they are more expensive but...

Don't like flying high with it or far to be honest to small to see after about 500m. Never flown higher than the limit tho 120m. That 1400m range was a one off I think mostly I start to lose reception about 1000m or as soon as I start to turn!!!

Just a quick question if you set the switch to atti mode instead of sport and go out of control range, would the craft still return to home failsafe or just fly off?

I think holding the power button down for 3 beeps (approx 10 seconds) on the spark when it is powered on resets the WiFi as well

I had the same problem the other day but it was because it was foggy. The down facing camera and sensors didn't like the fog and was giving me a reading as if it was on the ground!
