    Damaged spark battery

While this doesn't answer your question, you mentioned getting the battery modified to get the extra flight time. Are such modifications possible assuming you can get your battery back to switching on again? I would like to get my Spark batteries to go beyond their usual 12 or so minutes flight...

    Traveling with Spark, worth it?

Sounds like you've already made up your mind. Yeah, if you think your Spark is nothing more than a dead weight, leave it at home. On the other hand........................

Your purchase of a DJI Spark

I thought it would be a good starter drone. I bought it used from the original owner who demoed it for me and then let me fly it. I was hooked! Except for the relatively short battery time, it's more than met my expectations. It will likely be my one and only drone.

Soon to be booted from DJI forum

OK, that remark got my attention. Please explain what you mean and what factual evidence it's based on. Are you an American? Curious minds would like to know. Thanks!

    Mavic Pro used

This is a reply to the sender as well as the rest of you as I think there may be a lesson to be learned here. I have a used Mavic Pro, basically a Flymore kit, with 3 batteries I purchased this past February which I have never flown. Why? I was not real happy with my Spark's actual 12 minute air...

    Tethered Spark?

Since one of your chief concerns is limited battery life, my thoughts are that you should ditch the limited battery life Spark and invest in one of the Mavics with nearly double the battery life. Or, am I being overly simplistic?

    Drone Travel

I flew from Tucson, AZ to Seattle, WA earlier this month with my Spark and its 2 batteries + RC as a carry-on. No problems whatsoever. I did have a small problem in that I forgot to remove my iPad from my carry-on bag - same bag as the Spark outfit was in. I got a minor scolding from the TSA...

Safe to fly in advisory zones?

I live 3 1/2 miles from Sea-Tac airport one of the busiest in the world. If I decide to fly from home and after I boot up I get an advisory box that says in so many words that I'm in a NFZ but the box has an "OK" button. When I click on that button the box goes away and I'm good-to-go. Is this...

POLL: Have you powered on your Spark with the gimbal lock attached?

Same here. I didn't know the Spark had a so-called gimbal lock. I purchased my Spark used from a local private party who gave me a demo flight. He made no mention of one when he started her up. Also, the Quick Start guide makes no mention of one. Please clarify. BTW, I have since purchased a...

    Spark is...lost...kinda

I don't understand the relationship between "900m later" and "70m high". Also, why do you think the helicopter was flying so low? Please clarify. Thanks

Spark Prop Guards interfere with Flight?

I still keep mine on. They saved my Spark from a crash when I accidentally hit a power line while descending. The line was too thin for the obstacle detection system to detect it. The Spark hit the line, bounced a bit, recovered nicely and made a safe landing. Without the guards, one or more of...
