Thanks for the response. I'm aware of the 400 foot max rule. I'm unsure at this time what the actual altitude will be but I thought 400 qualified as several so didn't specify that I was aware of the rule. But again, thanks for the response.

What position should the antenna be in if the plan is to fly several hundred feet straight up ? Should they be laid down flat or in their normal position but tilt the controller back so they are still pointing at the Spark.

Be mindful of your position in relation to the drone and make sure you are always facing it.

I think there are different forms of efficiency and in this case, they are more efficient in terms of performance. That doesn't necessarily translate to more flight time however. In the helicopter world, carbon fiber blades equate to a more responsive more precise machine. No one uses carbon...

The main advantage, as I understand it, is that carbon fiber props are more efficient because they are much stiffer than plastic or fiberglass. Efficiency is lost when the props flex.

I forget exactly what it's called but isn't there a setting in the Spark that tells it to constantly update it's home point location as it fly's? That needs to be turned "off" to keep your launch point as your home location.
