Bring a spark from the USA to the UK

I have brought a spark back from the USA to the UK no problems Until now:

After 2 clips I get a message on the controller saying that due to new UK regulations regarding safe flying
they have to rest the firmware and I have to wait a day for that to come through. So after 15 minutes flying I have to wait till the next day to fly.
I don't know how people on holiday here cope.

Do I have to cheat on my home base via an app and if so how does that affect RTH?

I think I have found the problem. When DJI tells you are in a different country they ask you to confirm that you know the local rules and reags and to confirm them. However around my area there are a lot of blank spots on WIFI and we dont always get that message so they shut you down. Also I am using a tablet that doesn't have data roaming not sure what we can do about this.
