The OP asked if the Spark itself is open source -- it is not.

The MODs that I have heard of (FCC hack, NFZ hack, speed hack) are modifications of DJI Go software but not the aircraft directly. Are those the same mods you are referring to?

No, you're right. I missed the Spark part and jumped to Go4.
