Fan won't turn off.

I just got my spark drone this week. After numerous successful flights, today the fan won't turn off. The RC connects but the props won't spin

No experience with this but if the fan won't turn off and the props won't turn on, sounds like it could be a temperature issue.

Sounds like the Spark may have over heated and needs to cool down

I turned the drone on this morning and the fan started to run immediately. Props still won't turn and they are free to spin.

I’m not sure, but I think your Spark is working properly! My drone’s fans run continuously whenever it’s powered up (but I do live in Houston, so there’s that...

Yes, the fan does run continuously from the time the Spark is powered on until it is powered off. The fact that that the blades won't turn may be caused by flight restrictions. Check the Go4 app for any warnings as such or any other warnings that may be there.
