I filmed this giant 1,000 year old tree in the Quinault Rainforest last week. It is an amazing experience to see this massive living thing in person! It's 191 feet tall and 17.7 feet in diameter.

Awesome video but you know that is in the National Park?

Actually it's not - the Lake Quinault area is a hodge-podge of land ownership. The western shore of the lake is the Quinault Indian Reservation, the South and East shores are a mix of National Forest, private property, and Forest Service lease land. Only the Northern shore is National Park, and even then that area is riddled with private inholdings and lease land. The World's Largest Sitka Spruce is actually on land owned by a private resort.

NICE!

I myself am trying to figure out how I can get Devil's Tower Wyoming.
It looks like the park gates are only 1500' away from the base.
I do the same for State Parks here.
I fly home made crafts around the perimeter.
Never crossing into the park :D

Devils Tower would be an amazing thing to fly around!

Dang it, you would have to say that - around the outside perimeter of the National Park is 6.3 miles (10.1Km)
I have DYI craft right now that can do autonomous missions like that with it's eyes closed.
Region Of Interest (ROI) pointed right at the top!
