Welcome, best to read up all you can on pre-flight safety checks, and watch all the tutorials you can. Education is key to avoiding fly-aways. There are some other great forums you can explore, DJI of course, also have a look at Spark . And we all try to protect our future with these drones, so best stick to the rules and regs in your country. Cheers.

But it is a very functional drone

Hi Stu, I'm from Central Victoria. The Spark is a very versatile little unit, very strong and reliable. Get yourself an OTG cable to connect your phone to the controller. Look at Litchi and explore the waypoint capability of Spark, this will open up a whole new world of flying. Very bright sun light in Australia, look into some Polarising filters to tone it down a bit. Have fun.
