IMU Calibration issue

I've been attempting to do a IMU calibration with my Spark.

It just sits there on the first step with a 'please wait' message.

It gets stuck at that. Shouldn't it be a fairly quick process ?

Anyone have any idea what's wrong please ?

I am doing this indoors close to my laptop and other electrical interference. I didn't think that would matter though.

I'll try it outside tonight when I get home.

There are 6 steps to the IMU calibration with several different positions that the Spark needs to be moved to during the calibration. Are you looking at the screen and moving the Spark as depicted on screen? It should take about 3-4 minutes.

Thanks for the reply,

I am following the pictures on screen. The first step has the A/C sitting upright it looks like ? Maybe I have the orientation wrong.

It sounds like you are doing it correctly, I use the DJI logo on the top rear of the Spark as my orientation mark.

Thanks,

I'll have another go tonight. I'm sure it's something I've got wrong.

Only got the Spark yesterday and was tired last night.

What a great bit of kit btway. The build quality is superb.

Let us know how it works out.

What surface is it on when you calibrate? It doesn't do well on carpet.

Here's a video showing the IMU calibration process for anyone else who is having trouble with this:
