But the Spark is really HOT on water, hot as in blown out highlights.
Looks like I need to look at aftermarket ND filters for the camera :)

Here's the video post an hour hike to get to the spot....any suggestions for the blown out water I'm all ears.
Still super impressed that I can hike with this Spark on terrain that makes my head spin. This was not a groomed trail to get there, here's the youtube-

You have some great pics on flikr but this is awful as in I'm wondering if your camera is bad.

take thing out of automode, its struggling to tell the difference between the white of the waterfall and its surroundings.
If something is overexposed you can't bring it back, so if you aim to expose the water better, although the background would look dark, you could bring that back up in post.

in short, get used to manual settings and buy an ND8 or ND12 filter for it, it will help you get the best.

The camera is VERY AVERAGE on this thing. Don't expect miracles, but you can defo get many times better than that photo of the same scene.
