Hi all spark pilots.
I have a question. I used to always connect my phone via wifi to remote. Then I got a usb micro to usb c cable as I'm using a Galaxy s10e. With the cable connected I'm getting a more stable feed and can fly further before the little icon drops a bar.

So I thought to avoid getting calls and messages I put the phone in airplane mode and it showed on my phone top left corner that it was disconnected but instill had control and video feed.

Can anyone shed light on why it would show disconnected even when I'm using a cable.

The OTG connection is not interrupted when you put your phone in airplane mode. I haven't experienced this myself but the "disconnected" message is probably for the WiFi connection getting disconnected between phone and RC.
