Well I was gifted a DJI Spark for my birthday and like everything I am reading up on it and looking to learn from those who have far more experience than I do, which is everyone! I hail from North Florida and once proficient will be using the drone for helping me out with writing my books.

Greetings from Birmingham Alabama USA, welcome to the forum! We look forward to hearing from you!

i haven,t had my spark in a while but i loved using it with Litchi mission hub the only limitations I had were the flight time but with the hub it was amazimg wkat the spark could do even after losing connection it finished the mission and returned with the footage from yhr planned mission and if the mission became to far or winds prevented it from finishing AI kicked in and it returned on its own as long as RTH alitude premitted cool little drone

The old generation is working different.
All the programming and data is located in the drone. The data of the new generation is located in the controller.
That is why litchi works much smoother in the old generation. Even if transmission is aborted, drone will continue its mission.
In the new generation all signals have to go via controller. If signal is lost a litchi mission will be aborted. That:s why I keep my MP1 even after purchasing a mini2 and air2s
