I just ran a long range (10000+ feet away) above our local bush ;-)
came back with an empty battery having to face wind on the trip back...

same with DU Recorder and double speed:

Nice job ! How do you manage ? I barely manage to get away from my garden before losing contact ...

@ thierry:
- FCC mode (CE mode limits to 500m/800m, in the best conditions)
- cheap parabolic antennas (6€) with RC in an adequate position
- the right place to do it: the drone is on a "direct line" even at 3km
