I've noticed when I start to take off my drone starts to drift backwards before rising any ideas why it does this. Once in the air it's fine.

Is it the wind or something else. I've done an IMU and always do a compass calibration.

I use a mini ipad2 with an OTG cable.

The wind can cause it but you can figure that out in an enclosed windless area. If it’s when you are within 1-2 feet of ground it be prop wash bouncing off the ground.

Could also be nicked or warped prop imperceptible to the eye — you can props (be mindful of the circular indicators) or try another pair.

I don’t think the motors are perfectly synced until all warmed up because mine flies at a slight angle the first minute or two then straightens out (anecdotal but factual observation).

Thank you would it help if I take off quickly or use the take off button on the RC to take off truthfully I have never used this function
