first, my spark was in a bit of a crash last september, was just found and returned to me two nights ago by a passerby who lived near the crash site. i watched the vid as i had a mem card in and saw it happen for the first time.

now, the spark looks great, all the lights work, battery charges, connects to the remote and my iphone, however, i pull the joystix down and in to get her ready, hit the throttle up, and it slightly tilts forward, then the props all stop.

happens when i try to take off using the phone app as well.

no warning or error messages. all lights are in correct sequence. props all feel normal, the front ones are not stiffer or 'stuck' feeling....

im going to assume some sort of damage from the crash, but from the vid replay i watched, not sure what could have caused it....any ideas?

Hello from the Hoosier Heartland, teecee

You might try an IMU calibration.

Welcome to the Forum. ?

It’s likely that spending 8-months outside in the weather has messed with the electronics.

At this point it may be a long shot, but try putting it in a sealed, gallon-sized, ziplock bag with some desiccant or instant rice for a day to to dry it out. Wrap the drone in a paper towel to keep the rice out of the moving parts. If using desiccant, I assume it’s contained. If not, use the paper towel.

Also, calibrate the IMU and compass.

If this doesn’t help, send it in for repairs.

Good luck.
