last night, I took my new spark down by a local boat launch with a dock. I launched the spark on the ground right before the dock and put it at like 3 feet or so and tried to slowly fly it out to the end of the dock. While I was doing this, it kept turning slightly left or right and I had to keep correcting it, which made for a jerky movement in the video. I am wondering if this was a result of something not being calibrated correctly or if i was just pushing the stick left or right a little while moving forward without realizing it.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? If so, any tips on how to prevent it?

i noticed when panning you have to go slow real slow , just like you experienced ( left to right or right to left ) . were you to close to any objects like boats or posts , then the avoidance system will come into play .

You can always perform the following calibrations in order to see if it resolves the issue (IMU, compass, Gimbal, RC).

I had that after a few flights, I redid the compass and that improved it, and then as it worsened considerably I did the IMU calibration.

Since then I have added about double the flying time with very good accuracy even in challenging coastal wind conditions.

Maybe it's just the sensors?.. How about trying it in an open field and if it's still moving erratically try the calibrations once again, and if it doesn't get better just try contacting dji.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have not had a change to mess around with it too much in the past few days but I will give your suggestions a try and see how i make out.
