I'm in the UK and I only fly when the app says so, bases on my settings of:

Max wind = 17mph
Inc Gusts = Yes
Wind Altitude = 394 ft
Min Temp = -10°C
Max Temp = 40°C
Wind Chill = Yes
Max Precip = 40%
Max Sky Cover = 100%
Min Visibility = 3 km
Min GPS sats = 10
GPS Elev Mask = 20°
Glonass Sats = Yes
Galileo Sats = Yes
Min Est Sats = 10
Max Kp = 3

As long as I check the compass interference and make sure the home point is lock, I am hopping the above will lessen the chance of a fly away.

Thoughts?

Before I start a flight, I always check the UAV Forecast and Airmap.

I also check flight radar 24 just to be sure.

The private aircraft in my area are far above 500 feet so all is good.
I still keep my eyes and EARS open as some of them don't have a transponder and may not show up on the app.

Your settings seem to be far too complicated! To fly a spark is not to fly a plane. Only wind might be useful to know, as all the rest you can see or feel it within 2000m around you.

Almost true but Kp and no of Sats will stop a fly away, not sure about you but I can't feel those lol [emoji3]
