I don't have "typical" months. I have not flown for a few weeks but back then I flew a bunch. If there is something cool to go see, I usually want to fly then but being in the big city near an airport keeps me from flying since I would have to travel to some clear space.

Another Walmart in the area still have 3 cards hanging on the discount shelf. I am SO tempted to pick those up.

Walmart is in the process of renovating the store so the put their remaining 3 Spark + remote packages out for $199. I was this close to buying a 2nd one for spares when the sales person said someone came thru and bought all 3.

The tip that helped me was to turn off auto join on my phone's wifi. that way I can tell it what to join so while I am trying to connect to the spark (actually to the remote and the remote connects to the drone), my phone does not do its own thing connecting to the home network. When I get out...

How does the Spark measure flight altitude? I am assuming that where it launches from is 0 and it goes up to 400' from there. So what if we launch from atop a hill/mountain? Still +400 from launch spot or does it take into account that it is sitting atop a 300' mountain? Here in Texas, the...
