It’s not so much a Flight REGS rule as a capability of Litchi... I’m aware of Transport Canada’s rules...but I’m wondering more if Litchi works off the GPS location of the drone. I mean are the waypoints GPS coordinates? I would certainly want to see the thing when it arrived at the coordinate...

Well there’s the point. I live at the very edge (100’) of class D. Hence I now only put up the mini at home in LOS. Litchi wouldn’t be good here...but I definitely will try it out of this airspace.

OK great. I’ll continue using OTG AND RC... OR, has that been my problem(?) using them together. I’ve been thinking of it as a back up failsafe.

I too have both Spark and Mini (also a Parrot Anafi....I do not recommend because Parrot support SUCKS!) I have more fun with the Mini because it is completely under the radar. I don’t have to worry about $1000. fines for flying in my back yard, which happens to be 100’ inside a no fly zone...

I have and used an OTG cable with my Spark though I found lots of connectivity issues. Recently I chatted online with DJI support and they told me Spark is not meant to use an OTG...?!?!? That surprised me... but it seemed to resolve my connectivity problems.

Must the Spark always be in LOS with the controller?
