Sorry, not much help on the Samsung. I have always used iPads or my phone for flying. I current use an iPad mini for my Mavic Air 2. Great visibility. In full sun, the iPad's glossy screen can be a bit of a problem.

I have used Davinci. Great application. I'm not a pro, but get some good post production work done. 4K video tends to challenge my i5 Dell laptop. For smaller projects, I use Splice on my iPad. There is a small subscription cost.

For me it is not how stable the drones fly it is how the drone and gimbal work together to keep the video stable. I upgraded to a Mavic Air 2. I video sailboat races so it is typically a bit windy. Thank you for the quick response. I fully understand about not being "current". I don't fly commercially. I got certified so I know I know the rules and to be a better remote pilot. I do fly in restruicted areas that I need LAANC approvals. I don't think I need to be "current" to continue...

Welcome. I really like your idea of hanging a camera from a box kite. You really have the passion for flying. The Spark is great I had one for a couple of years. Good luck. Ask questions and you will have many responses that will be helpful. This is a great forum.

I'm not a purist and use active track quite a bit. When I do practice orbit manually, I try holding one stick, yaw, still by placing my thumb on the controller next to the stick vs holding the top (tip) of the stick. Slide your thumb over to the stick moving it to start your yaw, side ways...

i used active track on a Spark for this video of my buddy’s boat. I did not update home. For landing I manually land. We stop the boat first ?.
