After having and using both Spark & Mini. The Mini is not a replacement for Spark, as much I had desired. The Spark offers more in performance, features and 3rd party apps. (For now... that may improve) That said, I do like the little Mini for it's own merits! No regrets on purchase. Great...

Wow... where'd you find a Mini, they not arriving to the stores until Nov 11th. Registration, Put anything on it and you'll have to register it with the FAA like any other craft. Just one decretive decal bumps it into the 250g Registration zone. Enjoy the Mini!!!

That’s correct, in addition at 249g if you place a sticker, skin wrap, or prop guards... you need to register. The weight is “Fly” weight, not initial weight. Anything added onto Aircraft puts it into the Registration category.

Did you generate a service request ticket prior to all the calls? If no ticket, they don't have any reference or notes to review. Any DJI service starts with generating a ticket and case ID. From there, call or online chat. That would probably help the process and communication.
