Go4 is much less stable for me. And it has a habit of running in the background, I actually had to install Greenify to keep it from draining my battery. Litchi is much more well behaved IMO.

FWIW I just hold the Spark in one hand and tap the Takeoff button in the app. That makes the Spark launch nicely.

I have a Phantom 3 Advanced and Spark, and P3A has much better range. Probably double. The Phantom 3 Standard never had Lightbridge and probably had a range comparable or less than the Spark.

My 2 cents, because it takes up to 10% battery to take off and 10% battery to land, I try to fly my Litchi missions so I land with > 40% battery just to have plenty of margin of error. That's generally about 10 minutes max and 2.5 miles total distance at ~15MPH and low wind. Litchi missions...

They should come out with a Spark 2 with folding arms and a 35 minute flight time and just blow everyone away.

It will probably be discontinued in the fairly near future. Just not yet. But hopefully we will get something better.

I know it doesn't help you right now, but this is a very rare problem, I have read a LOT of DJI forum posts over 3 years and it's probably the first time I've heard of it. I'd concur with the person that suggested trying a different microSD card.

Apparently it varies by Android/iOS and app version. One person says the solution is to go into the app without the Spark connected: Uncovering the video cache switch in DJI Go 4.2.x Android App May need to do some cache clearing too.

Additionally, anything stored on your phone is just going to be a cache of the compressed video/photos sent wirelessly from the Spark to your phone. It won't be nearly the quality of the video/photos store on the sdcard in your Spark. Some people (like myself) find the app crashes less on...

Litichi wasn't working with OTG on my Galaxy Note 4, but I don't usually update my apps. My reasoning is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", but in this case it was broke so I updated Litchi and it is now working.
