    Litchi Waypoints not being followed

Are you sure the drone is not travelling to the first waypoint. If the mission uploads successfully the drone will fly to the first way point before actually starting the mission.

How fast will a Spark follow you?

I have used a Spark from a boat, it will keep up at around 20 to 30 km/h. BUT always keep sight of the drone. I had a moment of confusion when the drone did not update the home point on one occasions and I lost sight of the drone as it attempted to return to the last logged home point. I was...

Sleepy Koala vs Hungry Koala - Cool Drone Video

No worries Simon, you know what some people can be like. I have some great footage of kangaroos, they basically ignore the drone if you keep it low.

    Hello from Kiama, NSW Australia

Welcome, I live in Victoria, one piece of advice is to look at fitting a Polarising filter to the camera, will lower the glare levels especially with the sun in summer. A lot of the videos you will see are taken in the northern hemisphere where the light is softer. In Australia the sun can be a...

Sleepy Koala vs Hungry Koala - Cool Drone Video

Great video Simon, but be careful posting stuff like this publicly as you may run into trouble for flying too close to wildlife, you know the drill in Australia

    Spark may surprise you

Litchi allows you to plan what happens when the mission is over, one of the options is return to home, so when the last way point is done, the aircraft will return to the home point which is usually set at takeoff, i.e. it will return back to you. If the mission is planned correctly you can put...

    Spark may surprise you

Never heard of Mercalli but I have now at $299 and windows only. HOWEVER, the point that I was making was that the Spark is a low end drone with capabilities that may surprise people. Yes the video can be slightly choppy, but at this end of the spectrum, probably not a great issue. By using the...

    Spark may surprise you

After owning a Spark for some time now I am surprised at what it can do. Using Litchi waypoints I can achieve trips of 5 to 6 km distance, (not distance from controller.) Using a parabolic antenna that will maintain contact with the aircraft and a OTG cable the Spark will undertake waypoint...

    Gday from Aus

Hi Stu, I'm from Central Victoria. The Spark is a very versatile little unit, very strong and reliable. Get yourself an OTG cable to connect your phone to the controller. Look at Litchi and explore the waypoint capability of Spark, this will open up a whole new world of flying. Very bright sun...

    Help with range issues

Parabolic antenna accessory will improve your connection but you must keep the controller pointed at the AC. Just align the direction you point by using the map.

I have one from a crashed Spark if you can provide details I can send it to you. Not sure how to private message using this forum. I am in Australia.

anybody have polarized lenses for spark?

I have recently purchased the PolarPro three pack PL, ND8 and ND16 Filters. I have tried all three on the Spark and settled with the PL or Polariser for everyday use. I am in inland Australia and our light is very bright especially in summer, most of the clips I see in YouTube are from the...

    Fly backwards in Litchi

To enable the Spark to fly a mission backwards in Litchi; when you construct a mission, the heading mode in settings must be set to "Custom" (iOS) each waypoint heading is now given as "0", if you change the heading using the slider so the icon of the ac is pointing backwards the ac will fly...

    Fly backwards in Litchi

The problem is when I set a negative cruising speed for the entire mission the ac just takes off and hovers. Am I missing something? Litchi user manual says ac should fly backwards.
