Mini 2 is a beast (way better connectivity, low noise, battery life, and usb c), but the spark is a tank. I've been hesitant to sell the spark, especially because I have so many extra parts for it. Such a good back up drone and the front sensor is very handy.

I like the spark for its portability, so in my opinion yes it is too bulky. I use ipad 9.7 for P4P and Iphone 6s+ for spark.

Agree, your budget is pretty tight. I spent a small fortune on spark accessories considering it was supposed to be my cheap drone. Besides editing in 4k sucks unless you have the hardware to do it.

open manually, only takes a few extra seconds. There's a slow-motion video showing the Mavic startup both folded and unfolded and the Mavic shakes noticeably with the folded props. The added wear and tear probably isn't significant, but at least you can check your props while unfolding them.

Relatively expensive product for younger people especially after purchasing somewhat necessary/important accessories for the spark to be useful (case, controller, extra batteries, filters, micro sd cards, etc.).
