Thanks for the reply. I did have a few glitches but nothing too bad. Maybe I just need to try it with a cable.

I got the Spark and Mavic at the same time and brought them to Hawaii. I'm very impressed with the spark. It has handled some decent wind (few high wind notices alerts came up while flying it). These are some of the Spark photos

So forgive me with the silly question but if the remote and phone connect fine through wifi then why use a cable? Are there any benefits. I know with my P1, P2, P3, and now Mavic, I've always connected with a cable. With the spark it just connects through wifi without the cable and it works...
