Was it raining or foggy? The VPS was indicating an altitude when you were well outside of it's normal range. This will interfere with the Sparks ability to descend as it thinks it's already close to the ground when in fact it's hundreds of feet in the air. It looks like it just stayed up...

Were you recording video when the front LEDs were off? If so it's working as designed.

Batteries have to be updated on the aircraft. Found it best to shut everything down and start over from scratch for each battery as if you're heading out to fly. Just give it a minute to complete the version check and it should prompt you to do the upgrade.

That error is due to the batteries that aren't updated. I had to exit the app and reconnect for battery 2 and 3 to update this morning. It should force the update on the main dji screen.

My bad... Made a bad assumption here. The dock does not connect to the squares. I have no clue what they are for lol.

They are for the charging hub that is shipped with the fly more package. You can buy it separately via the dji store. I'm not aware of any wireless charging capabilities.

I don't see any of this as bashing you. The lesson is to don't fly (quoting the manual) in severe weather conditions. This includes winds exceding 10m/s, snow, rain and fog. You should not have flown in fog and you did get lucky. You asked for advice and our response is simply RTFM.
