Thanks all for confirming me that Spark indeed has a barometer and no sonar but IR.

I agree Kilrah that the spark has a barometer, that's why I questioned Buddy411. However, I dont know where the sonar is located and doubt there is one. The mavic has two ultrasonic sensors (and no IR).

Does it have sonar? I thought its sensors are infrared and optical only. And really, no barometer?

Important update Posted by me on Monday evening. Didnt update the App to 4.1.7 however, will do that aswell.

I updated all FW (RC, AC, Batteries) but I didnt update DJI Go to 4.1.7 yet, have to do this. But yes, I still get the wifi question and I can confirm that I can fly far. I didnt even need to connect it to a droid with patched APK again, it just kept the FCC setting even after firmware upgrade...

Not correct. They are like an X, one in the left front and the other at the right back, not front and back the same guards.

What difference does the cable do regarding range?

That's what I do all the time cause I fly with iOS. Always hitting that cancel/ignore button to stay in the current setting. Works with the new Firmware aswell.

Okay updated to .600 and the "wifi setting dialog with ignore button" still shows up and I am on FCC afterwards!

Yes, compass seems to be the most important part of all the things like GPS, IR sensors, cameras and barometer. Maybe that's why the Mavic has two of them!

Two Questions: 1. Can you still go back to .500? However, in few days it won't make sense anymore. 2. Does force FCC still work?

Most important: did the LEDs flash yellow one time or green two times after takeoff? Also, check the flight record to see what mode it was. That might help.
