    RED WAYPOINT

@Santanu Yes. It is possible to control the gimbal setting during flight, but not when planning a mission offline. And after all, this is a mission planning app. As far as we know, the DJI SDK automatically sets either FCC or CE mode depending on the GPS of the aircraft. All third party apps...

    RED WAYPOINT

@Red Waypoint... Thanks for the reply David. 1. The Auto Gimbal feature is only available 'online' as far as I can see. In mission settings I can set 'Mission Mode' as POI which means the drone/camera is always pointing towards the POI, but there is no Gimbal Setting for 'Manual/Auto' when...

@Red Waypoint Hi David, I'm sure you have a lot of work to do, but I have a couple of suggestions regarding POI waypoints: 1. 'Auto' Gimbal... At the moment, it is possible to add a POI waypoint and you can specify the Altitude of the POI. In each normal waypoint setting it is also possible...

@Red Waypoint... I can confirm the app correctly recognises the Mavic Pro. Haven't yet tried a mission.

    RED WAYPOINT

@Red Waypoint... Just another thought, David... Missions are created and saved offline. They can then be loaded again when online. If you load a mission and then try and run it... there is a danger that the mission could be the wrong one, or the mission HP could be a long distance from your...

    RED WAYPOINT

Thanks David. Things are certainly getting better all the time! On point 1... I understand ‘offline’ mode is designed to plan a mission, and HP is symbolic. But HP cannot be cleared. Waypoints and POI can be cleared but not HP. I think this is a mistake. If HP is not cleared then the Locate...

    RED WAYPOINT

@Red Waypoint... Another issue (maybe): The gimbal slider on the camera view doesn't seem to work with the Spark. It does with the Mavic Air. It could be me, but worth testing for yourself.

    RED WAYPOINT

@Red Waypoint... David, a few observations fr you: 1. When you clear all waypoints the Home Point should also be cleared. Other points including POI are cleared, but not the HP. 2. It is almost impossible to move a point once set. This includes waypoints, HP, and POI. There needs to be a...

    RED WAYPOINT

Just to add to David’s instructions... 1. First ensure you are running version 1.1.5. This is the latest version but I had to delete my older version first because Google Play didn’t automatically update it. It said my device might not be compatible even though I have never had a problem with...

    RED WAYPOINT

As far as I can tell the auto FCC to CE switching is a function of the DJI SDK. Litchi works the same way. Only DJI Go 4 seems to ask if you want to switch or not.

    RED WAYPOINT

Entering an address is never going to give you an accurate location, and GPS coordinates are what are stored once you have located a point on the map. No-one is going to know GPS coordinates. What is the problem with just moving and zooming in on the map? The map starts at your current location...

    Video feeds to both?

Connect a WiFi HDMI screen mirror dongle (powered by 5v power pack) to the goggles hdmi input and then use the screen mirroring function of your tablet or phone to show the image on the goggles at the same time. Then put DJI Go 4 into full video mode by swiping down on the screen.

    RED WAYPOINT

The DJI SDK has default suggestions for Low, Mid, and High speed, but these can be individually changed so it should be possible for David (@Red Waypoint) to adjust them, or just add a speed slider rather than the current radio buttons. I suspect David has given the three choices to make things...

    RED WAYPOINT

@JD4x4 it will only locate your position using GPS. So try it outside. I have already reported to David this is something that needs fixing.

    RED WAYPOINT

@Artob That sounds like a great feature for the future. There are lots of things I'm sure David will want to implement, such as curved cornering. @David calero .. As you are now making changes and updates would it be an ide to have an indicator on the splash screen showing a version number...
