I pretty much only fly over water from a boat. The biggest potential issue is that if you loose connection and the drone RTH it may land in the water if you can’t reconnect. Even anchored as the boat swings it may not be in the same position when the drone RTH Drones are great to film...

You're supposed to apply for a permit for the Bahamian aviation authority to use a drone and customs is supposed to require it to let it in. But... its da Bahamas mon... Customs has never asked me about drones coming in by boat. Not sure what they d do if they find it in your luggage flying...

I use a scandisk SD card to iOS reader to import files into my iPad (or iPhone) And then edit it all in iMovie. Works great...

I was saying the same thing until flight nr 36. Home point recorded, all sensors in the green, no error messages in rhe log then 1400' over an almost empty bahamian cay with no interference the RC disconnected, the spark disappeared, never RTH'd. I bought a second one, hoping the late august...

That a what I thought until flight nr 36 when the RC disconnected and the spark never came home. Log was clean... 16 satellites, no errors, no interference over an almost deserted Bahamian Cay, home point recorded, etc. no reason for the spark to disappear I ll see how long the second one...

Unless something happens to th drone, there is no reason for gps to be lost if the RC disconnects. I ve always suspect the spark gps receiver or antenna is weaker than most or th drone is set to switch to ATTI below a higher number of satelittes In opn areas Gps signal should never be lost
