If you are using an android phone without otg cable only 5,8ghz is possible. Phone-2,4ghz-REMOTE-5,8ghz-spark In auto it select the least use channel and use it the whole time. In automode you can choose the band and the channel.

Carbon fiber props are much better at cutting fingers :p Don't see another advantage. If you like palm launch and landing stay with the stock probs

Another idea: DJIs new Pilot app. Its created for the enterprise drones but I read that some forum members successfully used it with the spark. And there is a option to turn off the sensor. I haven't tried it so be careful. But maybe its worth a try.

For some flights, yes. But then suddenly I'm back in CE mode without any message. I think this a problem from one of the last updates. The problems started around new year. Before that I stayed half a year in FCC mode without any problems.

I use a 3-side sun hood and for me it was one of the most important accessories for my spark. When you are on a field with no shadows the little hood improves the readability of your screen a lot. Got mine for under 10€ from Amazon. This kind fits also when you use your phone on the "intended" place

Just a hint: I use a similar combination (Ipad air with griffin survivor case). After some flights I'm back to my 6" Phone. With the heavy case my "control unit" became really top-heavy. Even with an lanyard it was uncomfortable after some minutes...

Yes I tried. When I pull the stick down the camera starts looking forward and remote was beebing. But I lost not much altitude. (Maybe 2-3m/minute). Before that I flew some minutes and when I got the battery warning I was still at 90m.

100% what happened to me a while ago. I put on a new decalgirl skin and go out for the first flight. Same problems: red zero altitude and when hit RTH sparky starts rising. I was over 300' at this moment. I also tried every setting to get my spark down. After reaching 0% battery the sparks came...

I have the same problem when I switch between my androidphone and my iPad air. No pop-up with the "Cancel-Question"..... Do you have the problem when just using your android device? I don't use my ipad anymore because this reason. Hope for some useful answers, too.

First welcome to the Forum :) I'm sorry that I can't help you with the fan problem but it seems like there is another problem. The spark normally stops the probs when a flip is detected. Can you try to start the spark while holding it and when the probs run turn it. When the spark don't turn...
