Just wanted to see what the consensus was for electric boards. I bought one a month ago and I love cruising around downtown with it. I'm planning to do some drone shots with my spark soon; hopefully the weather gets nicer up here! Just did a video regarding my board. Check it!

prime example of why we should NOT mod/hack drones. I get so upset hearing these stories of idiots that want to try and do more than what the drone is capable of, and in the end, the community gets BASHED because some idiot wanted to go "higher and further".

I feel like if I just set my home point manually (i.e go to menu and just set it there), it'll be just as good, or better.. questions is, do I set it to where I'm located or where the drone is?

Even if I'm getting 17-19 satellites? I thought the more satellites you get, the easier it'll be to acquire a homepoint...

I thought so. Coincidentally, the times it happened were in those videos. In the Gorge video, it was fairly wide open, no metal structures or anything that would block signal,I had decent amount of satellites (8-10) and for the Algonquin park video, it was wide open space, some trees behind me...

from what i see, when using JUST your phone, the only thing that slows down during tripod mode is the gimbal speed. other than that, the movements of the drone moving up/down/left/right/forward/backward is still remain the same. i think it's not as good as it intends to be, but it's definitely...

I am aware that when you switch to tripod mode the stick mode will disappear and go into gimbal track. I've switched back to the virtual sticks and checked to see if there was ANY difference in speed but to my eyes, they are just as fast as normal mode.

so i've been trying to figure out tripod mode without the RC as well. the only thing that's slow to move is the gimbal moving up and down, but when it comes to the movement of the drone, they're still normal speed. i wonder if they're planning on fixing this...

I, for one, wouldn't mind having the propeller guards on, only if they made a case where they can accommodate the propeller guards, i would be all over it!
