IMHO it definitely needs a gimbal with a pan axis and a proper USB connection on the remote. I'm using a large Crystal Sky monitor with my spark and the cable arrangement/connection required is laughable. I really like my spark, but those two things are niggles.

At first glance it seems interesting, but at 90min to charge one pack i'm not sure of it's practical value. IMHO a portable charging station 'should' allow you to fly reasonably continuously - ie if you have 3 or 4 packs, by the time you've used the fourth one, the first will be charged and...

Can anyone suggest a UK postage service which will accept lipo packs? DJI have asked me to send in my faulty Spark pack - but i've no idea what service i can use as most seem to be refusing Lipos

Thanks for the reply - when I said self fix, I wasn't suggesting an invasive procedure :-) more a way to coax it back to life with a discharge/charge cycle etc. Not sure how i'm going to discharge it - as the app won't let me power up the motors with the battery in it's current error state.

I topped up a pack for a flight, but when I plugged it into the Spark and powered up I get an error telling me that there is a cell fault and the spark refused to fly. Just wondered whether there’s a ‘self fix’ or whether it’s a warranty job. The pack in question has had fewer than 10 cycles.

Nice report, thanks. I've used autopilot to good effect with my Inspire, but I've been holding off to see how other people have got on with it and the Spark. The Go app's quick shots are great, but i think the control offered by Autopilot makes for better results.
