Good synopsis Tom! I believe you had gotten AP after I had back in January. I got side tracked with vacation,life and my wife decided I needed company after I retired...so she got we/me a dog!!!! A puppy to be exact. And they require a LOT of attention! Anyway I plan on getting back out soon...

Yeah I kinda am....but for now with the proliferation of Drones flooding the market and rules and regs. also keeping us down,I’m going to improve my skills with my little Spark. By that time I’m sure there will be the next greatest and latest Drone that will be calling me!!

Yeah I feel your pain...I’m about as red as you can get... Restricted Special Use Airspace FRZ C (WASHINGTON D.C.AREA C). So to fly at all I have at minimum a 15 minute drive just so I can launch the drone let alone get any respectable videos..but I knew that going in and I make it work..

The article stated that the “Sparks?” was going to be used for close quarters. The drones that will probably get the most usage would of course be the Phantoms. I believe DJI has more than one platform for the Matrice...though they didn’t state which one. Their was of course some negativity...

This may have been posted already. Read yesterday on the Drudge Report that LAPD has purchased several drones...all DJI! Two Phantoms,a Matrice and of course 1 small but mighty Spark. :D
