i am only new to the spark but have had my phone turn off while in the middel of a flight first time panic and while the spark hovered I was abel to restart the phone next time I managed to flyit back to me and land but it was only about 150 mtrs away I have fixed the problem the on/off switch...

if the spark is directly overhead with RC youcan lose the signel when the aerials are pointing directly at the model try to angel the controler antener to the side never point them stright at the spark
