    Buy a controller before you fly again. Using a phone display is the most stupid idea I’ve seen yet. The spark is probably upside down so it’s black underside is facing up so difficult to see. Get a metal detector and try a again

    USB OTG connection with an iPhone

    As regards to changing the channel you need to press one of the channel numbers under custom. The higher numbers are 5.8 and the lower are 2.4 from what I can remember
