Mine was perfect. My main concern with refurbs is how many times has the battery been used - in both cases only 1 or 2 charges. Well worth the savings for me.
Over the years the ND filters have become # 1 for me for all my drones, slowing that shutter speed down and also getting the exposure correct is paramount. Agree the OTG and a case (as small as possible) is a must, and of course several batteries. Good Stuff.
Cyberlink PowerDirector . If you get a version that's a year or 2 old, the price is very good (~ $30 range), and it's significantly better than all the free ones, but not very pricey like Adobe / Final, etc. that the Pro's use.
Guys, the best evasive action is go into sports mode and throttle straight up. Birds (eagles are a problems around here) can't fly straight up and I've found they lose interest before I get to 400 ft. The small spark gets more bird harassment than my big phantom for sure.
I do, but I have problems IF the boat motor is running. I have to turn off the boat motor, then launch - my outboard motor causes way to much interference. My 17' Aluminum Boat causes no problems by itself.
I built my own which is deeper & allows me leave the spark legs on, doesn't look pretty but I don't have to keep snapping on and off the legs which takes time and is a pain and does the spark no good getting "snapped" all the time. This allows me to safely hand catch and keeps spark out of dust...
Had similar problem with my phantom 3. I put in another mini sd card (or reformat current one) and problem goes away. I don't know why, this happens once every few months but the quick solution works each time.
