I have noticed that the map that is currently showing in the Go4 app is showing local businesses in their wrong locations. Some are showing close to my home that are a quarter to a half mile away. However, it does show my house in the right place. Where does the app get it's maps from? It must not be Google Maps as it shows everything in it's proper location. ? hmmm

That is all Google maps/ Map Box errors.
Google maps has a school labeled right across from the high school here.
But across the street is a lumber yard.
There are also revisions of Google maps.
direct from google is more current.
But if I use Litchi, still does not show the new construction completed at the high school
Some maps even show the stadium before AstroTurf in 2012

That is really strange that it would show such a different version. Google apparently does not update these maps as often as needed but as long as my Spark knows where it is, I am satisfied. Thanks for letting me know that.
It is all about the money.
Google provides the up to date service.
If your app needs the up to date database, then they charge the app maker $$$$$ for the service
not so needed to be updated = $$$$
even less required = $$$
You just need an idea where you are = $ and may be 10 years out of date.
