[QUOTE="Wombatclay, post: 15944, member: 1731"] Ok.... a big thing I learned is weather... not only what is on earth but the sun's activity (Kp). These errors and loss of GPS that most have happen at about the same time for everyone. I've never had GPS lost or imu errors or even a compass error (sorry did have one once when I started the Spark on top of my case and it picked up the metal from my spare batteries and charger but moved it away then did a compass calibration and flew flawlessly). Never launch if you have an error. Sort the issue out first by moving away from what ever might be causing it... then if that fails have a look at the Kp index. Don't fly above Kp5. I limit myself to a maximum of Kp4 as I have done some testing during solar activity to test my theory... Kp 6 will lose video and controller signal. Kp7 took my Spark and rc about 2 mins to bind so I didn't even fly then. We all want to fly when ever we want but in truth you can have a perfectly sunny day with zero wind and a Kp of 6 or 7 and still lose your spark.... so be aware and take notice.... in Iceland you should be able to see the Aurora and if you do don't fly, just handheld record it with the Spark.
