I would like to say this was NOT a planned event! It was very windy today, but nothing the Spark hasn't seen before so I wasn't to worried. Powered up lil Spark and took off to my normal 30' AGL to get a good precision landing. Started noticed some drifting and looked up from the screen and little spark was fighting with all his might to hold position. Sadly he could not and was blown about 40' before I could bring him back in for a safe landing. Getting him back was scary thought it wasn't going to make it, please was getting a lot of pitch and roll not controlled. I would NEVER fly in winds that high it was just a freak gust I think due to my location (very close to mountains and a large river) You can see from the screen shot of http:\\www.airdata.com lil Spark got blasted by almost a 50mph wind.
