Ambient Temperature problems

I have seen my Spark have issues when it is 97° F outside. What happens when it gets below C?

Below Celsius at 0 degrees is 32 degrees Fahrenheit. No problem.

As stated above, the cold weather is tougher on the PIC than the SPARK. 🥶

If flying in the cold, KEEP THE SPARE BATTERIES WARM BEFORE USE !
Don't let them get cold.

Carry them in your pocket and change them out as needed during the flights.

Wear gloves that are phone friendly to keep your hands warm and the ability to touch the screen for app stuff.

Enjoy your flights. :)

Yes, the Spark is sensitive to even moderate ambient temperature but tends to not mind the cold so much.

When I had my Spark, the only problems I had flying in cold weather, was that the gimbal would stick when being pitched up or down. Sometimes pitching it up or down freed it but on really cold days (-10C or colder that didn’t work).

Although it was not rated to fly in weather below 0C, it was my only drone that could not handle temperatures below the rated specs.
