Got my new Spark at Christmas. Originally wanted to go with the Mavic, but after lurking on this forum, felt the Spark was a better fit. Have been flying ‘toy’ drones for awhile now. The Spark just seemed to be a natural step up for me. Have been really taking my time with this getting to know the software capabilities, flight prep/calibrations, etc. I think taking it slow is really the best way to go. I live in a highly wooded area on a river and hope to get some great video soon. Weather has been a bit uncooperative, but rain in Oregon is just something you learn to live with. Nothing like what some of you are seeing right now. The first couple of times I did some serious flying I am really blown away by this drone.
