Actually it was not in Sport Mode

Older original thread, but were you actively flying yourself or using active track ?
Probably flying it, or you took over near powerlines.
Either way a pretty risky situation so low with trees either side, wires too and across path, etc.

Live and learn, glad you got Spark back with little apparent damage.
Still going strong ?

I've had that happened to me also. I posted "my depth perception sucks", but the same concept of flying sideways into a tree too tall. My lesson from it was to always fly the mission forward to ensure you clear all obstacles before filming sideways.
